One Year of Fun: It’s hard to believe that a full year has passed since we officially opened our doors at the Odyssey in Belfast. Time flies when you’re having fun. What a year it’s been! From day one, our mission has been clear: to bring families, friends and fun-seekers together through unforgettable, shared experiences.
As we celebrate our first anniversary, we’re looking back on an incredible 12 months filled with community moments, exciting launches, upgraded experiences and LOTS of fun. And now, we want to invite you to join us Friday 12th–Sunday 14th December for a full-on birthday celebration packed with fun, surprises and sweet treats!
A Year Full of Milestones at Funstation Belfast
Rays of Sunshine's Charity Day - Our VIP Day
One of the most meaningful highlights of our first year was hosting our very first VIP Day with Rays of Sunshine, welcoming 8-year-old Wish Child Lily and her family. From the red carpet and balloon arch to fully loaded Funcards, gifts and a few special surprises, we wanted to make them feel truly celebrated!
A standout moment came when Patrick Grasso and Garrett McFadden from the Belfast Giants joined the fun. Patrick even gifted Lily and her family tickets to an upcoming Champions Hockey League game! We also proudly donated £2,500 to Rays of Sunshine to help create more magical moments for seriously ill children across Northern Ireland.
Supporting Local Sport: Sponsoring Patrick Grasso
Another huge milestone this year was becoming an official sponsor of Belfast Giants forward Patrick Grasso (#72). Patrick embodies everything Funstation stands for — energy, positivity and a strong sense of community.
To celebrate the partnership, we welcomed the Giants to our venue and introduced official Giants prizes to our prize shop, including team pucks and a signed jersey. It’s been amazing bringing the excitement of Belfast hockey even closer to you.

A Major Update for Pixel: Our Interactive Floor Game
Earlier this month, Pixel — our immersive interactive floor game — received a major power-up! The update includes brand new games, added levels and a faster, smother performance. If you haven’t tried it yet, this is your sign come and play the new update!
