Terms & Conditions

Bookings and Payments 

  • Full payment is required for all online bookings at the time of purchase for Funstation Group experiences.

  • Online bookings and payments made to Funstation Group (including Breakout Escape Experience, Volcano Falls, Laser Station & Carnival Golf and Games) are strictly non-refundable.

  • Late arrivals may result in a reduced playtime or forfeiture of your booking. 
     

Your Online Booking

  • Once payment is received for your booking, you will receive a confirmation email.

  • If you do not receive your confirmation email within 24 hours of booking, please contact us via the online contact form or by telephone. 

  • You must present your booking confirmation email to collect your tickets at the venue. 

  • Entry may be refused without a valid confirmation email. 
     

Alterations to Your Booking

  • If you wish to make changes to your booking after payment, contact us by telephone or through the online form. 

  • Changes are not guaranteed and we do not offer refunds. 

  • If we can accommodate a change this will be confirmed via email. 
     

​Fun Card Terms & Conditions 

A Fun Card lets you play games at participating Funstation UK locations using digital tokens. By purchasing, reloading or using a Fun Card, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which may be updated without notice. The latest version is available on our website.

 

Tokens & Prize Points 

  • Tokens are purchased when you load a Fun Card and are used to play games. Token requirements vary by game and are displayed on each reader.

  • Prize Points (tickets) are won through certain games and can be redeemed at the Prize Station. Tickets are automatically stored on your Fun Card or after being counted at a Ticket Eater (Braehead). 

 

Fun Card Expiry Notice

  • ​Points balances (tokens/prize points) on Fun Cards will automatically expire 12 months after the last use.

  • Please note that the 12 month period will reset each time the Fun Card is used. ​​

  • Expired balances will not be reimbursed.

  • Promotional tokens and prize points may have separate expiry terms.

 

Lost or Stolen Fun Cards

  • Funstation is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen Fun Cards.​

  • We will endeavor to replace lost, damaged or stolen cards; however, the balance of tokens and prize points remain the responsibility of the cardholder.

  • Any lost/spent balance will not be reimbursed. 

 

​Fun Card Usage 

  • Fun Cards are contactless, you simply Tap on the reader and Play. 

  • The number of tokens required will be deducted per tap and your remaining balance is shown on screen. 

  • Token and prize point balances are non-transferable between cards. 

  • Fun Cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. 

  • Sales tax is included in token prices. No transaction statements are issued. 

  • Resale or transfer for profit voids the card and its balances. 

  • Funstation is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged cards. 

  • Game prices and token requirements may vary by location and during promotions. 

  • Funstation may refuse or cancel a card if misuse or fraud is suspected.

 

Purchasing & Checking Balances 

  • Fun Cards are free with token purchase and can be loaded via kiosk, Prize Station or with staff assistance using cash or card. 

  • Balances can be checked at kiosks, on the game readers or with staff. 

  • If your card has insufficient tokens for a game, try one that requires fewer tokens or reload at any kiosk or Prize Station.

 

Prize Points & Redemption 

  • Prize Points won from games are automatically loaded onto your Fun Card. In Braehead these must be counted and loaded to your card via a Ticket Eater. 

  • Redeem Prize Points for prizes at the Prize Station. 

  • If you don't have enough tickets for an item, remaining tickets stay on your card. 

  • Prize Points have no cash value, are non-transferable and (unless promotional) expire 12 months after last use. 

  • Prize Point balances can be checked at kiosks or with staff.

 

Card Registration 

  • Register your Fun Card at kiosks or with staff. 

  • Registered cards are protected from the moment a loss is reported. 

  • Registration allows us to contact you with news and offers. You may unsubscribe anytime. 

  • Your details are never shared with third parties.

 

Card Cancellation 

  • Funstation may suspend or cancel cards at any time for misuse or violation of these terms. 

  • Voided tokens/prize points will not be reimbursed. 

  • Returned cards are recycled and personal data removed. 

  • Marketing data remains until you unsubscribe. 

  • You may donate unused tickets to charity, please ask for details.

 

Balance Disputes 

  • Funstation may adjust your Fun Card balance if an error is identified (e.g. incorrect token/ticket counts, swiper malfunctions, or system issues).

  • If you notice a mistake or wish to dispute a transaction or correction, you must notify us within 30 days of the transaction date.

  • To report an issue: Speak to a manager at the Funstation location where the card was used, or email info@funstationuk.com with your Fun Card number and details of the issue.

  • We will investigate your query and correct the balance if an error is confirmed, or provide a written explanation if no error is found. Funstation is not responsible for any lost tokens or tickets if the issue is not reported within 30 days.​​

 

Offers and Promotions

  • Funstation Group reserves the right to cancel, amend, change or withdraw any offer or promotion at any time.

  • Offers and promotions are only valid during school term time unless stated otherwise. 

  • Offers and promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions, including the best value packages. 

 

Behaviour Policy 

  • Funstation Group reserves the right to refuse service or remove guests who engage in disruptive, abusive or inappropriate behavior.

  • Guests must comply with staff instructions at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

 

Lost or Stolen Property

  • Funstation Group is not responsible for any personal belongings lost or stolen at the venue or during the experience.

 

Age and Supervision 

  • Please note that our team is not responsible for supervising children during your visit.

 

Breakout Escape Experience T&C's​

Damage and Conduct

  • Players must treat the room, props and equipment with care. 

  • Any deliberate damage or excessive force resulting in breakages will be charged to the responsible party and/or lead booker. 

  • Funstation Group reserves the right to remove or refuse entry to anyone behaving inappropriately or causing disruption.
     

Health and Safety

  • Players must follow all instructions given by staff.

  • The experience may involve enclosed spaces, flashing lights or loud noises. Please inform staff of any medical concerns before participation.

  • Funstation Group is not liable for any injuries sustained due to failure to follow safety instructions.
     

Emergency Exists and Safety Procedures​

  • Players must follow all safety briefings before starting the game.

  • In case of an emergency, staff will provide guidance and assist with evacuation.

  • Each room is equipped with an emergency exit, which can be used at any time if necessary.
     

Age and Supervision 

  • Some rooms may have age restrictions. Please check with a staff member before booking. 

  • Please note that our team is not responsible for supervising children during your visit.
     

​Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. 

By visiting Funstation and using a Fun Card or our services, you accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
