Opening event at Leeds Funstation! We’ve officially arrived in Leeds and what a welcome we’ve received! On the 10th of April, Funstation celebrated the grand opening of our brand-new venue in The Light and we couldn’t be prouder to bring our unique mix of immersive, interactive and family-friendly fun to the heart of this vibrant city. A Night to Remember To mark the occasion, we welcomed some very special guests for an exclusive sneak peek before the doors opened to the public. Among them were incredible families supported by Rays of Sunshine , young players from Pontefract Collieries FC  (proudly sponsored by us) and The Hunslet Club  – an amazing local organisation empowering young people through sports, arts and personal development. And yes, we also invited some of you ! That’s right, some of our amazing Sign Up & Save members were given the VIP treatment and were chosen to join us for an exclusive sneak peek before we opened to the public. We loved meeting you! We were also honoured to welcome the Lord Mayor of Leeds , Councillor Abigail Marshall Katung, who joined in on the fun (with some great basketball and air hockey skills!) before cutting the ribbon and officially declaring Funstation Leeds open. More Than Just Games At Funstation, we’re passionate about more than just great entertainment (although we’re very, very good at that); we care deeply about giving back and making a difference in every community we join. That’s why the heart of our opening night was all about celebrating the charities and community organisations we’re proud to support. Magic Moments with Rays of Sunshine A true highlight of the evening was celebrating our long-standing partnership with Rays of Sunshine, a charity that grants magical wishes to seriously ill children across the UK. We’ve been proud supporters of Rays of Sunshine for over a decade and to mark the Leeds opening, we donated £5,000  to help grant even more unforgettable wishes. From meeting celebrities to dream days out, Rays of Sunshine helps children create joyful moments they’ll never forget. Funstation are honoured to play a part in supporting this. Local Wish Children, Ella , Harry  and Eliza , and their families joined us on the night, reminding us all of the joy and magic that comes from giving back. Come and Play! It’s hard to believe that just three months have passed since we opened our doors at the Odyssey in Belfast! From the moment we first set up shop, we knew we were embarking on something special. Our goal has always been to bring people together through fun and exciting experiences, and we’re so thrilled to share that the first 3 months of our journey have been everything we hoped for and more. Our launch was nothing short of a celebration. The excitement in the air was palpable, and we were overwhelmed by the incredible turnout from families, friends, and tourists who were eager to experience what we had to offer. From the very beginning, it was clear that Funstation had found its place in the vibrant Belfast entertainment scene. Our space at the Odyssey is a dream come true, featuring everything from thrilling arcade games to cutting-edge escape rooms (Breakout) and even our amazing dessert bar (Titanic Desserts). We were so proud to see the smiles on the faces of all ages – from the youngest kids discovering their new favourite game, to adults reminiscing on the classics. The feedback from our visitors has been overwhelmingly positive, and it's been so rewarding to see our vision come to life. A Hub for Families and Fun Seekers One of the things that excites us most is how quickly Funstation has become a hub for families and people of all ages. Whether it’s kids celebrating a birthday, school groups coming in for an afternoon of fun, or families spending quality time together, we’re thrilled to see so many different people enjoying our space.
