VIP day out at Fountain Park in Edinburgh

On the 1st September 2018, 6-year-old Ethan was treated to a full VIP day out at Fountain Park in Edinburgh, thanks to Funstation and Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity. He was joined by his family.

They were invited by Funstation to highlight and support the Tickets2Wishes campaign, which raises funds for Rays of Sunshine,, a children's charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill children aged three to 18 years of age across the UK by granting their wishes, organising hospital activity and hosting large scale events.

Ethan’s wish was to visit Centre Parcs. His wish was granted in May this year by Rays of Sunshine, thanks to Funstation customers donating their Prize tickets to Tickets2Wishes.

James Miller, MD of Funstation said "Funstation is all about family and friends having Fun together and by supporting Rays of Sunshine with Tickets2Wishes we can help other less fortunate families have a Fun time too.” See #Tickets2wishes

In addition to enjoying Funstation, Ethan and his family enjoyed a jam-packed day of activities that Fountain Park has to offer including Laser Station, Volcano Falls, Tenpin Bowling, Gravity, lunch at Frankie & Bennie’s, plus a special viewing of Incredibles 2 film at Cineworld.

Jane Sharpe, CEO of Rays of Sunshine, added: “We’re so grateful to the tickets2Wishes campaign and Funstation for organising such a fun-filled day for Ethan and his family. It’s only with the support of our valued partners, like Bacta, that we can continue our work to brighten the lives of seriously ill children. Thank you to all of the customers who have donated their tickets to grant magical wishes and create special memories.”
